MarketVendorJobs.com is a global recruitment site, specialising
in careers in banking technology, market data and trading room
applications.
Requirement
Market Vendor Jobs required a recruitment web site with a large
variety of functional features that supported both the employers
with job vacancies and the candidates that would be applying for
these vacancies.
Not only were Market Vendor Jobs looking for the development of a
website, they were also looking for a developer that they would be
able to work with on a continuing basis as the website grew and
evolved.
Solution
X402 were selected to develop the website and completed the
development within the tight time scales that were required. The
initial version of the site provided support for 3 different types
of user; employers, candidates and the site admin.
Employers are able to post and manage their jobs (whether full
listing jobs or featured jobs), view the details of jobs
applicants, maintain their company profile and search the candidate
database for potential employees.
Candidates, in addition to searching for jobs (either through the
quick search facility or the more thorough Advanced Search), are
able apply for jobs and track their applications in the system.
Candidates can also maintain a detailed profile which would, if
desired by the Candidate, be searchable by potential
employers.
The Salary Survey system provided statistical information to
Employers and Candidates on the salary ranges, benefits and
availability of jobs based on their required market sector,
location and experience level. Additionally, both user types have
access to market news, the resource centre and profiling &
Psychometrics services.
Finally Site Admin users are able to manage all aspects of the
site.
Since the initial launch, the site has continued to develop,
with the addition of publications and events directories among the
variety of new features that have been added.
